The Benefits of Reiki

Reiki is a natural form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th Century. The term “reiki” comes from the Japanese words “Rei,” meaning “universal” and Ki, which is “Life Force Energy” - aka Universal Life Force Energy.

It is a gentle, non-invasive technique where the practitioner channels the Universal Life Force Energy and then transfers this energy to the client, an animal, plant, a place or even an object. It helps in restoring harmony, energy and balance within the human energy system. The energy is used to either clear, balance, or energise the energy fields and as a result, it promotes healing and improved physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Reiki can be used to complement conventional health care and is often used in collaboration with other approaches to health and healing.

I am a Usui Reiki Master Teacher. I completed my first Usui Reiki level 1 when I was 19 years old in Brazil. I started to practice with myself first and then my family and some friends at university. They unanimously reported so many improvements in their physical and emotionally healthy which really surprised me. I then decided to immerse myself in learning the other levels of Reiki until I became a Reiki Master. I love to help people and pass on my support and knowledge because I believe this is my purpose and mission.
